Art Collector Program

Summary: Steadman introduces his Art Patron and Art Collector Progams.
The Art Collector Program is below this introduction and definition. The Art Patron Program is outlined on a separate page.

Are you an Art Patron or an Art Collector?

If you have ever thought of yourself as a “Patron of the Arts,” or an “Art Collector,” here is a chance to prove it. Become one of my Art Patrons or Art Collectors. I am very confident you will enjoy the experience and consider it a very smart decision over time. It can also be fun and satisfying and enriching in ways you might not expect.

Is there a difference between an Art Patron and an Art Collector?

Yes! From my perspective there is a very significant difference. However a single individual can be both. What is the difference between the two categories? Here is a brief outline:

Art Patron

This individual provides financial support in the form of a financial gift or other types of support (e.g travel, lodging, access, facilities, promotion) to an artist. The key distinction is that the Patron supports the artist by supporting the creation of new art. This may or may not come with specific instructions on how this money is to be used (e.g. for the creation of new paintings, travel, exhibitions, etc..). The Patron may or may not have specific desires for art to be created for them (e.g they may want an artwork dedicated to them or they may want a part of a series to add to their own art collection). The Patron may or may not even want any art pieces at all. The Patron receives benefits from the artist. These are better described on another page introducing the Steadman Uhlich Art Patron Program and through a personal (face to face) meeting with Steadman Uhlich.

Art Collector

This individual buys multiple pieces of artwork that have already been created by the artist. This can be very specific (the collector picks the individual pieces) or it can be the choice of the artist. The collector gets greater value and benefits than they would if they only selected one piece or if they bought pieces over a long period. Please note that there is more information below focused on the Art Collector Program, so please continue reading this page.

In short, the difference between the Art Collector and the Art Patron,  is that the Art Patron supports the creation of NEW artwork while the Art Collector purchases work that has already been created.

What are the benefits?

The benefits to both levels in the Steadman Uhlich Patron & Collector Program are substantial. The Art Patron Program is something you will find extremely valuable as time goes on. I guarantee it! The Earlier and Longer you are a member, the greater your rewards. My Art Patrons get very significant added value for their support of my work. If you would like to learn more about becoming one of my Art Patrons or Art Collectors, please give me a phone call so we can meet in person to discuss this. I am sure you will find the opportunity stimulating and rewarding.

Steadman Uhlich Art Collector Program

If you have ever thought of yourself as an “Art Collector” here is a chance to prove it. Become one of my Art Collectors.

The benefits are substantial.

The Art Collector Program is something you will find extremely valuable as time goes on. I guarantee it! The Earlier and Longer you are a Collector, the greater your rewards. My Art Collectors get very significant added value for their support of my work. That value is monetary, but it is far more than a matter of money. There are also special considerations for special services too.

Here are just a few examples of how I help my Collectors: I often help my collectors look at framing choices, placement choices, and even with advice on lighting the artwork, assembling groups on a wall, and clever ways to enhance the collection display and novelty and impact in a room (if displayed in a room). I also give advice on archival framing choices or storage of loose prints. And I help my Collectors with advice on how some images can create a visual “statement” in an environment. All of this is based on years of experience, many hours of experience helping others enjoy these images, and practical experience with all aspects of display of fine artwork. These are just a few of the ways my Collectors benefit from this relationship.

There is something special and enjoyable about having a “collection” of works that comes directly from a personal relationship with one artist.

This is far better and very different from having bought the art from a ‘middle-man’ (e.g. retail art gallery, store, auction house, website). The key distinction is a “personal connection” to the artist. Oddly enough, this is something most “art collectors” never get from their art. It makes a big difference in how one can appreciate the art over time. This special relationship is very fulfilling for my collectors and for me too.

Even beyond that is the experience and satisfaction one feels when the Art has been made especially for someone who serves as an Artist’s Patron.

Today, many people want to display a “collection” of photography in their homes or offices. Fine Art Photography can be very appealing, creates a beautiful look for home or office and is more affordable than a large collection of original paintings. An example: one of my Art Collectors wanted to have a collection of eight of my Art of the Ocean photographs to display in the rotunda (entrance) of her new million-dollar condo at the beach. Her collection looks “Stunning” (so she tells me every visitor says when they see it).

What defines one of my Art Collectors?

A collector is someone who purchases a group or custom set of my fine art photographs.

The cost of the Collection is dependent on the size of the Collector’s desired set and the size of the printed images.

Here is your chance to become a true Collector of an individual artist with a direct connection to the artist. Each of my Collectors is recognized and receives significant value beyond what they would have spent on individual pieces over time. They also receive a special relationship with the artist and truly exclusive special offers over time. If you would like to learn more about becoming one of my Art Collectors, please give me a phone call so we can meet in person to discuss this. I am sure you will find the opportunity stimulating and rewarding. You may gain much more than you can anticipte now.
